IndieRevenue

Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 23, 2026

IndieRevenue (“we”, “us”) helps indies track income, milestones, and optional public profiles. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it when you use the IndieRevenue iOS app and website (indierevenue.app).

Information we collect

  • Account data — email (via Sign in with Apple / Google), username, display name, avatar preference, and settings (currency, language, appearance, privacy toggles).
  • Product data — projects, income sources and entries, goals, milestones, interests/roles, and Discover analytics events generated while you use the app.
  • Optional public profile — if you purchase and enable a featured/public profile, selected identity, stats, projects, and links may appear on the web at /@username.
  • Technical data — authentication sessions and basic diagnostics needed to operate the service (hosted with providers such as Supabase).
  • Website analytics — on indierevenue.app we use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate traffic (pages viewed, approximate region, device type, and key actions such as App Store or project link clicks). Google may set cookies or similar identifiers; see Google’s privacy policy for details.
  • Purchases — subscription and in-app purchase status is handled by Apple. We receive entitlement status, not your full payment card details.

Subscriptions

IndieRevenue subscriptions and auto-renewable in-app purchases are sold through the Apple App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple ID. Subscriptions automatically renew unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel in your Apple ID account settings.

Those subscriptions are governed by Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA):

How we use information

  • Provide and improve the IndieRevenue app and website.
  • Calculate totals, goals, milestones, and Discover features.
  • Show your public profile when you choose to publish/feature it.
  • Measure website usage and marketing performance.
  • Secure accounts and prevent abuse.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Data may be processed by infrastructure providers that host the backend (for example Supabase) and by Google Analytics when you visit the website, under their terms, solely to operate and improve IndieRevenue. Content you choose to publish on a public profile is visible to others. We may disclose information if required by law.

Retention & deletion

We keep your data while your account exists. You can delete your account in the app under Settings → Delete Account. Deletion removes your profile and associated product data from our systems, subject to short-term backups and legal requirements.

Children

IndieRevenue is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
